I built Preview to send interactive HTML experiences through a simple link while keeping control over access, updates and a few honest engagement signals.
What it does
Preview publishes externally authored HTML behind revocable or expiring bearer links. A link can include an optional PDF companion. The owner sees aggregate meaningful views, visible time and completed PDF deliveries.
How it is built
One Cloudflare Worker and one D1 database serve two explicit origins. The application shell stays separate from uploaded HTML, which runs inside a sandboxed iframe on the content origin.
What it deliberately is not
This is Carlo Caprini’s personal, single-owner utility—not a SaaS, multi-user platform, public content directory or hosted product for third parties. A shared URL is a bearer capability, not a reader identity.
How it was developed
The project was developed specification-first with AI-assisted implementation and review. Product decisions, deployment authority and final ownership remain human responsibilities.
Deliberate measurement
Preview counts a narrow set of aggregate events. It does not claim to identify readers, prove that someone read a document or detect who forwarded a link.
