Small, aggregate signals—not reader profiles.
Preview is Carlo Caprini’s personal sharing utility. This notice explains what the application measures when someone opens a shared link and what its infrastructure necessarily processes.

What Preview measures
After shared content loads and remains visible for two seconds, Preview can count a meaningful displayed view. While the page remains visible, it reports bounded visible-time increments. A completed PDF response can increment a PDF-delivery count.
These values are daily aggregates. They are not identified or unique readers, proof that someone read the content, proof that a file was saved or opened, or evidence that a particular person forwarded a link.
Measurement receipts and retention
The reader browser creates a random session UUID used only to construct measurement receipt identifiers. Preview stores a receipt identifier with its internal share-link ID for up to 24 hours to prevent retry duplicates. It does not use that value to build a reader history.
Daily aggregate rows store view counts, visible milliseconds, last-view timestamps, completed PDF-delivery counts and last-delivery timestamps. These aggregate rows currently have no automatic time-based deletion and can remain after a link expires or is revoked.
What Preview does not store as application analytics
Preview does not claim or store a reader’s name, email address, verified identity, forwarding event, IP-address profile or user-agent profile. It has no advertising or reader-profiling use. Activity from a valid owner-authenticated session is excluded from recipient measurement.
Links, cookies and infrastructure
A shared URL is a bearer capability: anyone who receives a valid link can use it until it expires or is revoked. Keep it private. Uploaded HTML runs on a separate content origin and receives no owner credential.
Readers do not receive an identity cookie from Preview. The owner interface uses a secure, host-only authentication cookie for a signed 12-hour session. Cloudflare necessarily processes technical request information to deliver, secure and operate the Worker and D1 service under its own applicable terms.
